The area of Thong Nai Pan is undoubtedly one of, if not the most, beautiful beaches on the island of Koh Phangan.
With its heavenly pure white sand which is soft upon your bare feet and turquoise waters which are deep enough to swim in at this side of the island it is a favourite location of families, couples and honeymooners, and local expats who drive to Thong Nai Pan Noi to enjoy their own little vacation on the island which they live on.
Thong Nai Pan is made up of two different beaches, each with its own small village. Thong Nai Pan Noi is most well known for its luxury resorts and holiday maker atmosphere where as just a two minute drive further around the bay you reach the second beach of Thong Nai Pan Yai which is much less developed with a more chilled vibe.

Beautiful Beach
This part of the island is well known for its soft white sands which a long stretch of beach which never gets too crowded like other parts of the island.
The view looks out to the open sea, to the North and so nothing is in your way and it is enclosed each side giving you that real escapism feel.
Sweet Restaurants
Yai beach although not as densely developed as Noi still has small resorts and restaurants to choose from, soe actually on the beach and some in the quaint village on the road.
Escape from the hustle and bustle
Being in Thong Nai Pan Yai can really feel like you are not on Koh Phangan! If you live here or are staying long term then it is an ideal escape from the busyness you can find in Thong Sala, Haad Rin or Sri Thanu.
Swimming Spot!
We all know it can be hard to find good ocean swimming spots on the island as a lot of places are quite shallow. Yai beach has good waters which are nice for swimming and also chilling out in. You can also canoe round to Noi beach if you want some adventure!
