Chiang Mai's popular night market to reopen today

This Wednesday Chiang Mai is going to start its popular night market after no new COVID-19 cases have been recorded for 6 consecutive days.
The governor of Chiang Mai, Charoenrit Sanguansat, and the provincial committee for disease control have resolved to ease restrictions on social events and will open flea markets, night markets, and walking streets from Wednesday 20 January.

The announcement stated that, nonetheless, markets must adhere to strict disease control measures.

Chiang Mai has ordered all markets and similar activities to close for 14 days on January 6th.
