A video on Twitter shows Koh Samui empty gets viral

A member of Twitter, called Global Citizen, posted a video clip yesterday, portraying Samui Island as a "deserted location."

"Roaming along the streets, you can see locking down all the shops, with no visitors insight. Malls are virtually barren, "he said.

"I wonder if Phuket, Krabi, Phang-nga, Patong, Chiangmai, Bang Saen, and Pattaya are in the same condition."

"We've been struggling with Covid-19, but the local environment appears to be grim.

"Samui has been a desolate place for the very first time in my life."
