It’s a well known rumour that being by the coast or beach is good for you, being on Koh Phangan is also very good so here you have a double winner!

Let’s look at some of the reasons why…

Soaking up the Vitamin D
Vitamin D is beneficial to us all and this is why you may feel happier in the sun whilst also safely getting a summery glow on your skin.

Relax…
There’s not many places where you can listen to the sound of the waves whilst laying on the soft sand under a palm tree. An easy way to unwind from life’s stresses.

Take a walk
Most of us will drive EVERYWHERE whilst on the island, but on the beach it’s a nice excuse to have a gentle walk.

Be more active
The beach has endless opportunities for some fitness. Beach volleyball, running or jogging, kite surfing, swimming or just discovering the area will make you more physically active.

Connect with yourself
Being at the beach gives you a chance to connect with yourself and also with nature. Taking time out to be able to think and work out some life choices and decisions is always good.

Remember when you do go to the beach to always LEAVE NO TRACE. If you do have rubbish then take it with you and respect Mother Nature and keep the island beautiful.
