DJ Tum, 22 year-old from Bangkok first came to Koh Phangan when he was 16 year-old in 2009.
He went to Koh Samui to visit some friends and they wanted to party so they went to Full Moon Party and VOILA!
He never left the island ever since. That's how his Koh phangan Story begins...
Hi Tum, thanks for the interview. How did you learn how to be a DJ ?
I learned DJing with my Boss from Drop In Bar when I moved here 6 years ago.
Where did you play before coming to Koh Phangan ?
I only played in Drop In Bar for the moment but I play sometimes in private parties in Koh Samui and Koh Tao.
I wish I could play in other nice events.
What kind of music do you like? Which kind of music do you play at Drop In Bar?
I like every kind of music but my favorite tunes to play are edm and r’n’b.
What do you think about Koh Phangan music and party scene?
I like Half moon and full moon and Koh Phangan is the best place in Thailand, even in Asia to party. I feel so lucky!
Who is your favourite DJ?
My favourite DJs are Tiesto and Afrojack, and I like artists such as Jay Z and 50 cent...
How do you spend you free time on the island? What is your favourite place on the island ?
When I have free time which is unfortunately not often, I like to dance in half moon party, stay at home and watch movies.
How do you see yourself in 10 years?
I would love to play at the most famous electronic festival in the world "Tomorrowland".
I want to be the next Tiesto. Maybe one day I will.
What is your life philosophy?
I like to work hard but as it is a passion, there is no problem and I like to discover new things every day of my life.
